Lochearn Guest House Location At the foot of Glen Ogle and positioned at the Western edge of Loch Earn, Lochearnhead is situated in the newly formed National Park that contains some of the finest scenery in Scotland, including Loch Lomond and The Trossachs.
The village is ideally located centrally for sightseeing being in easy reach of the Trossachs, Oban, St. Andews, the East and West coasts and just over an hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow. Lochearn House was built in 1780 as a croft and has been sympathetically extended and modernised. This area is very well known for game fishing on both lochs and rivers with many choices on where to spend the day.

There are three river systems running through our area, the Tay, Earn and Forth. The trout season in Scotland is from 15th March to 6th October and the salmon season on the Tay from 15th January to 15th October and the Earn and Forth from 1st February to 31st October. |
