LOCHEARNHEAD is a small village with some 250 inhabitants at the head of Loch Earn
At the foot of Glen Ogle and positioned at the Western edge of Loch Earn, Lochearnhead is situated in the newly formed National Park that contains some of the finest scenery in Scotland, including Loch Lomond and The Trossachs.
The village is ideally located centrally for sightseeing being in easy reach of the Trossachs, Oban, St. Andews, the East and West coasts and just over an hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Lochearn House was built in 1780 as a croft and has been sympathetically extended and modernised. This area is very well known for game fishing on both lochs and rivers with many choices on where to spend the day. Permits are required at all times, mostly moderately priced and are available for purchase locally. Please note that permit charges may vary from those shown here and should be checked via the contact details.
